What do I need?
- A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone
- A reliable internet connection
- A quiet, private place to talk
- A list of your current medications and allergies
- Your preferred pharmacy name and location
- A photo ID and payment card
How do prescriptions work?
If Abby prescribes a medication, she sends it electronically to the pharmacy you choose. You pick it up or have it delivered — just like a prescription from any other provider. Prescriptions are billed separately by the pharmacy.
What if I need labs or imaging?
Abby can order labs or imaging — X-rays, CT scans, or MRIs — at a facility near you. She'll review the results with you and follow up on next steps. Labs and imaging are billed separately by the lab or imaging center.
Where do I need to be?
You must be physically located in Florida during your visit. We serve patients throughout the state — Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville, and everywhere in between. Vacationers and snowbirds are welcome.
If you're in Ohio, book through Y-City Telemedicine.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your intake forms and video visit use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Your health information is never shared without your permission.
See our Notice of Privacy PracticesWhen is telehealth not the right choice?
Telehealth is not for emergencies. Go to the ER or call 911 for:
- Chest pain or pressure
- Trouble breathing
- Signs of a stroke — face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulty
- Severe abdominal pain
- High fever with stiff neck or confusion
- Any situation that feels like a life-threatening emergency
