Frequently asked questions

Can I get antibiotics through a video visit?

If Abby determines an antibiotic is medically appropriate, she can prescribe one. Many illnesses, like most colds, are caused by viruses and won't improve with antibiotics.

How soon can I be seen?

Often within 30 minutes during open hours. After-hours visits are available based on availability.

What do I need for the visit?

A phone or computer with a camera, an internet connection, and a private place to talk.

Can I get a work or school note?

Yes. If you're seen for an illness, Abby can provide a work or school note.

What if I'm traveling outside Florida?

You must be in Florida at the time of the visit. If you're in Ohio, book through Y-City Telemedicine.
