By using this website, you agree to these terms. Tropical Telemedicine is a brand of Abby Guirguis, APRN-CNP, LLC.
1. Not for emergencies
Telehealth is not for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988.
2. You must be in Florida during your visit
You must be physically located in Florida at the time of your visit. If you are in Ohio, please visit our Ohio practice, Y-City Telemedicine, at https://y-citytelemedicine.com.
3. Website information is not medical advice
The content on this website is general information. A provider-patient relationship begins only after you book, complete intake, and have a visit.
4. What telehealth can and can't do
Some conditions can't be safely treated by video. Abby may recommend in-person care, labs, imaging, or a specialist. Booking a visit does not guarantee a prescription or a particular treatment.
5. Medications
Prescriptions are sent to a pharmacy. Some weight-loss and wellness medications are compounded. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Abby will discuss risks and alternatives with you. Some medications may require additional evaluation, lab work, or follow-up visits.
6. Results
Results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including weight loss.
7. Payment
Visits are self-pay and paid by card when you book. We do not bill insurance. You'll receive a receipt you can submit to your HSA or FSA. Itemized receipts and visit notes are available on request. Refunds are handled case by case.
8. Consent
The telehealth consent and other forms you sign during intake are part of these terms.
9. Using this website
Please don't misuse this website, try to access it without permission, or copy its content for commercial use. We are not responsible for the content of websites we link to.
10. Limits of liability
To the extent allowed by law, this website is provided "as is." This does not limit our responsibility for the medical care we provide.
11. Governing law
Florida law governs these terms.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
