Do I need antibiotics?
Most bronchitis is caused by viruses, so antibiotics usually don't help. Abby will look at your symptoms, how long you've been sick, and your health history, and recommend treatment to ease your cough and help you rest. If she thinks a bacterial infection is likely, she can prescribe accordingly.
When to be seen in person
Get in-person care if you have a high fever, shortness of breath, a cough lasting more than a few weeks, or symptoms that get better and then worse. Call 911 for trouble breathing, chest pain, or coughing up blood.
How much does a visit cost?
$100, paid by credit card when you book. Your prescription is filled at your pharmacy and paid separately. After your visit, you'll receive a receipt you can submit to your HSA or FSA for reimbursement.
