Fortunately, not all health concerns require a physical in-person visit to an urgent care center. Many non-emergency health issues can be efficiently managed through remote consultations with a qualified healthcare provider.

At Tropical Telemedicine, we provide non-emergency urgent care services for people needing medical assistance from home. Through our virtual consultations, you can access fast and convenient medical care. This means you can receive timely assessments and treatment without enduring long waiting lines or leaving your house.

At Tropical Telemedicine, we offer treatment and medical assistance for a diverse range of health conditions. Led by our founder, Abby Guirguis, an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP) with over a decade of experience, we provide comprehensive care for your medical needs. This includes treatment, education, medication refills, and referrals. 

Our virtual non-emergency urgent care services are available at $100 per visit. This fee covers a consultation and includes a consultation and up to a 30-day prescription, depending on your condition. Refill visits are also covered under this pricing.

However, some infections are contagious and require you to stay home to prevent spreading them. At Tropical Telemedicine, we offer virtual consultations to treat various types of infections and related diseases from the comfort of your home.

• Upper respiratory infections: Infections in the upper respiratory tract can be caused by a variety of pathogens, such as bacteria, viruses, and in rare instances, fungi. Our healthcare providers assess your symptoms through virtual consultations and prescribe treatment options based on the type of infection.
• COVID-19 & influenza: Contagious viral respiratory diseases, such as COVID-19 and influenza, can cause fever, cough, and fatigue. Our non-emergency urgent care service is particularly useful for managing these conditions. We provide treatment and guidance on symptom management while you self-isolate and rest at home to prevent the spread of infection.

If not treated promptly, they can lead to ear pain, discomfort, and hearing problems. We offer virtual medical care to diagnose ear infections, prescribe medications, and provide guidance on ear care.
• Pink eye: Conjunctivitis, or pink eye, is the inflammation of the transparent membrane that lines your eyelid and eyeball. It can be caused by viruses, bacteria, or allergens. We can assess your symptoms through virtual consultations, prescribe eye drops, and offer recommendations for symptom relief and eye hygiene.
• Strep throat: Strep throat is a bacterial infection that can result in sore throat, fever, rash, and swollen lymph nodes. Through our virtual consultations, we can examine your condition and provide medical care measures to alleviate symptoms.
• Dental infections: Infections, such as tooth abscesses or gum infections, can cause significant pain and discomfort. We can assess your symptoms and prescribe medications, including antibiotics, for relief. We also provide referrals for in-person dental care if necessary.

It causes symptoms such as congestion, discolored nasal drainage (pus), facial pain and pressure, and sometimes fever. Unlike viral infections, bacterial sinus infections may require antibiotics for treatment.
• Common Colds: Common colds are viral and can cause a variety of symptoms like cough, congestion, sore throat, and more. These often start to improve within a week or so and just require prescriptions for the symptoms.

Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) require prompt treatment to prevent complications and reduce the risk of transmission. We offer confidential virtual consultations for people seeking STD treatment, including prescriptions for medications.
